in 1962, Ernst Lüthy and his family established De Sede, a custom leather furniture studio out of a small sadlers shop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Lüthy changed the business name to De Sede AG in 1965. Little did the family know, their small business would soon become an international name, known for luxury, handcrafted masterpieces. They released an expansion of top of the line designs, leather and fabric sofas, sectionals, armchairs, chairs, tables and beds. The excellent Swiss workmanship led the company to be able to expand, opening additional manufacturing facilities. Their designs were so loved , near and far, the company began international distribution.

Let’s take a look at the companies timeline of ever-loved designs.
