Villa Benkemoun: A Seventies Lovers Paradise

Villa Benkemoun was designed and built in 1974 by Émile Sala, a disciple of Le Corbusier. Located just 4 kilometres from Arles city centre, the Villa is visited by people near and far to see its one-of-a-kind architecture and interiors. The main living space features bright orange F511 lounge chairs & ottomans by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort, 1960s, Model 780 Beechwood Nesting Tables by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina, 1960s, a unknown arched floor lamp, circa 1960s-70s. In the background seating area is a Fiberglass Living set by Douglas Deeds for Architectural Fiberglass Co, 1972 and above are eye-shaped ceiling lights by Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert.
