Interior’s We're Drooling Over

 

This picture perfect interior is the home of Jeffrey Graetsch, founder of mdfg.nyc, an art gallery located in Brooklyn, NY. It features stunning peach colored mushroom chairs by Pierre Paulin, twin Pierre Jeanneret armchairs, a Jean Prouvé ‘Cité’ daybed, a Jean Prouvé low table, Charlotte Perriand low stools, a mobile by Alexander Calder and a painting by Claire Tabouret titled ‘Our Beach’ 2019.

 
 

Owner, Emily Oberg, of luxury-wellness brand, Sporty & Rich, has given us a peak into her ultra space age home located in Hollywood, California.

Oberg’s living room features an Alessandro Becchi ‘Anfibio’ sofa paired with Eero Aarnio raatan footstools and a fun citrus colored rug. Step outside onto the terrace to find an array of lime green furniture, including ‘Pastil’ lounge chairs by Eero Aarnio, a Gae Aulenti dining set from the film La Piscine and an iconic ‘Tulip’ table by Eero Saarinen paired with Harry Bertoia ‘wire’ chairs.

Step back inside to find the coziest corner containing a yellow Pierre Paulin ‘F303’ lounge chair. In the dining area, you’ll find iconic Marcel Breuer ‘Cesca’ armchairs. Oberg’s office features a gorgeous green Eames aluminum group chair by Herman Miller.

And it just keeps getting better… Sitting side-by-side is an oceanic table lamp by Michele de Lucchi and a ‘Tahiti’ lamp by Ettore Sottsass. Finally, as we make our way into the kitchen, are ‘Tulip’ chairs and a ‘Tulip’ table by Eero Saarinen. Look closely and you’ll find a ‘KD29’ table lamp by Joe Colombo.

Oberg is known for being the queen of cool aesthetics. After all, that is how she built her successful luxury-wellness brand. This entire home is a 10/10 and its nothing less than what we would expect from Emily Oberg.

 
 

Next up we another space age home. The instagram account, @MX67DOC shares with its followers an array of collectible and rare design. Featuring an ‘Oryx’ desk by Vittorio Parigi & Nani Prina, an Eero Saarinen ‘Tulip’ stool and a Joe Colombo ‘Boby’ trolley.

The living room showcases a ‘Bubble’ chair by Eero Aarnio a ‘Coconut’ chair by George Nelson, a Boris Tabacoff ‘Sphere’ chair, Eero Aarnio ‘Pastil’ chairs, a Francois Monnet table and umbrella stand, a ‘Cuffia’ floor lamp by Francesco Buzzi, Artemide ‘Dedalotto’ vases, Danese Milano Kerguelen coat stand by Enzo Mari, a ‘Planetaire’ table lamp by Sabine Charoy, a ‘Kappa’ coffee table by Cesare Leonardi & Franca Stagi, a ‘Tulip’ side table by Eero Saarinen, a ‘Tulip’ dining table and chairs by Eero Saarinen, an ‘Alba’ floor lamp by Sergio Brazzoli, a ‘Ermanno’ lamp by Harvey Guzzini and lastly, ‘Pillola’ lamps by Cesare Casati & Emmanuele Ponzio.

Lastly, we have a ‘Tufty Time’ sofa by Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia, an ‘Irghitta’ lamp by Fabio Lenci and a ‘Mushroom’ stool by Eero Aarnio.

 
 

Ahhh cozy, refined, yet casual. Brent Buck from Brent Buck Architects living room space features a large cognac leather ‘togo’ sectional sofa by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset. I’m already drooling. Above the fireplace, leans a framed Donald Judd artwork. Floating above is an Isamu Noguchi ‘Akari’ paper pendant. Two rare side-by-side bauhaus chrome armchairs by Marcel Breuer sit next to a yellow Herman Theodor Jan Anthoin Busquet for Hala Zeist floor lamp.

 
 

Is your heart beating faster too? This bright and airy space is the Soho home of Ronnie Sassoon and James Crump. The living room features a hanging Lucio Fontana piece, the gorgeous and iconic ‘Soriana’ sofa and ottoman by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, a Willy Rizzo coffee table, nesting tables by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina and a floor lamp by Roberto Gabetti and Aimaro Isola. In the office area sits a rare and stunning space age ‘Boomerang’ desk by Maurice Calka. The dining area is made up of Superstudio’s ‘Olook’ lamp that hangs directly over an Angelo Mangiarotti table and Afra and Tobia Scarpa ‘Africa’ chairs.
